Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Night

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members in person, via phone, and in writing.
• Provide individualized patient and family education based on assessment findings.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
• Deliver safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Adhere to professional standards while supporting quality improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid nursing license in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
