Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Night

Position: RN - Emergency Department Location: Elmhurst Main Hospital Hours: Night shifts (7:00pm-7:00am), part-time (24 hours/week), with every third weekend and rotating holidays Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care following state laws and hospital policies; assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan, implement, and evaluate care; monitor progress; delegate tasks; collaborate as part of a team Qualifications: Associates Degree or higher in Nursing (Bachelor's within five years if only an Associate's); 1+ year ED experience; valid Illinois RN license; CPR certification; ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications within three months of start Skills: Critical thinking, assessment, delegation, teamwork Benefits include: Shift and holiday pay, incentive pay, career growth, medical/dental/vision, tuition reimbursement, retirement, paid time off, wellness programs, and community involvement opportunities
