Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Night

Role: Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (Night Shift). Responsibilities Assess patients and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing with all stakeholders.Provide individualized teaching to patients and families based on thorough assessments.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.Current Illinois nursing license.CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Key Duties: Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, develop and coordinate care plans, communicate clearly, educate patients and families, and contribute to quality improvement efforts. Uphold professional standards and stay informed on current nursing practices.
