Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Night

About the role

Provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department in accordance with state laws and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition, recognize changes, plan, evaluate, and document care.
• Employ critical thinking and monitor patient progress.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to team members and collaborate to meet unit goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing, or an Associate Degree with a plan to complete a Bachelor’s within five years.
• At least 1+ years of emergency department experience.
• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (within three months of appointment).

Schedule

Night shifts, including every third weekend and rotating holidays.
