Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.
- Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing with all stakeholders.
- Individualize patient and family education based on thorough assessments to meet learning needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
- Provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
- Ensure safe, effective, and individualized patient interventions.
- Engage in continuous professional development and quality improvement.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Illinois nursing license.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
