Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Night

Position: Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, primarily working night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care by assessing patient conditions, recognizing changes, planning and evaluating care, monitoring progress, and documenting observations. Delegate appropriate tasks to staff and collaborate as part of a team to achieve unit goals. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act. Qualifications: Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred if Associate Degree only). Minimum of 1+ years’ ED experience. Current Illinois RN licensure, CPR certification, and within three months, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS Stroke Scale Certification.
