Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Multiple Shifts

Position Overview Provides direct nursing care in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.Implements and monitors patient care plans, assesses patient conditions, and communicates effectively.Serves as a primary coordinator for multidisciplinary patient care.Follows physician and nursing orders, and coordinates discharge planning with the healthcare team. Qualifications And Skills Licensed Registered Nurse with an active license from the Alabama Board of Nursing.Certification in BLS, Advanced Life Support, and PALS within specified timeframes, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross.Diploma from an accredited nursing program; at least one year of critical care or emergency experience preferred for certain settings.
