Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Multiple Shifts

Position Overview

Provides direct nursing care in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. Implements and monitors patient care plans, assesses patient conditions, and communicates effectively. Serves as a primary coordinator for multidisciplinary patient care. Follows physician and nursing orders, and coordinates discharge planning with the healthcare team.

Qualifications And Skills

• Licensed Registered Nurse with an active license from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Certification in BLS, Advanced Life Support, and PALS within specified timeframes, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program; at least one year of critical care or emergency experience preferred for certain settings.
