About the role
We are seeking a dedicated registered nurse for the Emergency Department, responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with organizational policies and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Assess, record, and communicate patient conditions.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care and serve as the primary point of contact for patient management.
- Carry out physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning with healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Current Alabama RN licensure and professional licensure at hire.
- Certification in BLS, ALS, and PALS within specified timeframes, accepted from AHA or Red Cross.
- Minimum one year of critical care or emergency experience for certain roles.
Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate care effectively in a fast-paced environment.
