Registered Nurse - Emergency Department, Full-time Night Shift

About the Role

Seeking an experienced Nurse to provide independent, comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting. The role involves addressing complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments, diagnoses, planning, interventions, and evaluations based on established nursing standards.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol and monitor outcomes.
• Document all care activities, including patient history, symptoms, and care provided.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Assess educational needs and provide information to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Delegate tasks to care team members to effectively manage patient care.

Requirements

• Current RN license and BLS certification required.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and neonatal or fetal monitoring certifications are required within specified time frames.
• Participation in orientation and competency validation programs.
• Completion of required certifications within designated grace periods.

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.

Skills

• Ability to develop long-term care goals and manage contingencies.
• Strong delegation, assessment, and communication skills.

Schedule

Full-time work schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM.
