Registered Nurse - Emergency Department, Full-time Night Shift

Role Overview

A qualified Nurse practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex patient care, while managing long-term goals and contingencies. Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient care according to professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following protocols
• Monitor treatment effects and document patient information
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Delegate tasks appropriately to care providers
• Provide patient and family education

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 1 year of related nursing experience preferred
• Valid RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required (must be obtained within specified grace periods if not already held)
• Must complete organizational orientation, competency validations, and annual requirements
• Ability to assess complex needs and communicate effectively in diverse situations

Additional Requirements

• Experience in acute care or related specialty is advantageous
• Full-time night shifts (7PM – 7AM)
