Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Full Time, Night Shift)

About the role

Provides coordinated nursing care to patients, ensuring adherence to established standards and the nursing process. Supervises and directs various levels of nursing staff, collaborating with other disciplines to deliver comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes patient data, develops and implements care plans, and evaluates patient outcomes.
• Participates in discharge planning, delegates duties appropriately, and promotes a safe, healing environment.
• Provides education to patients and families, and ensures continuity of care.
• Assess patient health, develop and execute care plans, and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Provide patient education and ensure safety and quality of care.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• BLS certification
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS and PALS
• Critical thinking, professional discretion, and effective communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Acute care experience preferred
