About the Role

The Registered Nurse provides high-quality patient care by collaborating with the care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key communicator between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient advocacy and satisfaction. The nurse participates in performance improvement initiatives, maintains professional competence, and supports shared governance through service on councils or activities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient conditions and care plans.
• Deliver safe, effective care aligned with policies and procedures.
• Act as an advocate, addressing patient and family concerns and providing health education.
• Contribute to quality improvement efforts and organizational initiatives.
• Mentor and support professional growth of peers, fostering a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, certifications, and professional standards.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s nursing degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact).
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS (all valid upon hire).
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaborative skills.
• Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
