Registered Nurse - Days

Position: Collaborative Registered Nurse, Oncology Location: Highland Park Hospital/Kellogg Cancer Center Role & Responsibilities: Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for oncology patients, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Supervise and coordinate with unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring interdisciplinary collaboration to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Contribute to safety, high-quality care, and positive patient experiences. Qualifications & Skills: Current Illinois RN licensure, Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), CPR certification, and a minimum of 1 year of Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience (or relevant ED, ICU, PACU experience). Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills are essential. Key Duties: Independently deliver nursing care, guide staff, collaborate with healthcare team, and promote safety and quality standards. May float to other centers as needed.
