Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Drive professional growth by actively participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure by the New York State Department of Education as a registered professional nurse.
  • BLS certification required.
  • PALS certification encouraged.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for the majority of the workday.
  • Must be able to move/lift heavy equipment and patients weighing a minimum of 34-40lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination required for manipulating biomedical equipment (e.g., suction catheters, electric-monitoring devices).

About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse who can provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments. This role requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, BLS certification, and PALS certification. Candidates should have experience working in a pediatric setting and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
