Registered Nurse - Day Shift
This position is located in Moundridge, KS and offers a full-time schedule from 7:00am to 7:30pm.

Nurses typically work with patients from admission to discharge, providing supportive medical care over 30-45 days of treatment. Responsibilities
- Execute prescribed treatments and medication interventions as established for each patient.
- Implement nursing care in accordance with Valley Hope’s medical philosophies, policies, and procedures as well as any other regulating bodies to ensure quality patient care.
- Conduct detox admissions and provide patient care during the detoxification process, including pre-screening, obtaining physical assessment data and health history, administering detox treatment plans, and monitoring patients.
- Record treatment activities and patient observations in patient records accurately and timely; complete paperwork requirements as needed.
- Communicate with nursing supervisors, nursing staff, and clinical staff regarding patients’ treatment and status.
- Follow established policies and procedures for all medical emergencies (e.g., convulsions, suicides, Delirium Tremens).
- Maintain a safe and sanitary environment by applying infection control techniques and universal precautions.
- Oversee non-licensed nursing staff as instructed by and under the direction of the facility Nursing Director.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in nursing.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice in the state of employment.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- One (1) year of clinical nursing care work experience.
Pay
Starting base rate: $37–$42 per hour.
- Night shift differential: $4.25 per hour.
- Weekend night shift differential: $4.75 per hour.
- Weekend day shift differential: $1.00 per hour.
