Registered Nurse - Day Shift - Adult Intensive Care Unit

Role Overview The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care, including assessing conditions, developing and implementing care plans, documenting treatments, and evaluating outcomes. They promote a safe, therapeutic environment, collaborate with departments for patient admissions and transfers, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to address physical, psychosocial, and discharge needs. Responsibilities Perform professional nursing duties and supervise patient care Facilitate interdisciplinary planning and participate in quality improvement activities Assist in staff orientation, program evaluation, and community outreach Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards Qualifications & Skills Nursing degree and current Illinois RN license CPR and CPI certifications Preferred psychiatric experience and knowledge of abnormal psychology Ability to maintain confidentiality and work within budget constraints
