Responsibilities
- Assess patients, develop and implement care plans, document care, and evaluate outcomes
- Welcome patients and promote a safe, therapeutic environment
- Collaborate with departments for patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Gather and analyze data from patients, families, and healthcare providers for comprehensive care planning
- Participate in setting departmental goals, quality improvement, and professional development
- Assist in hiring, training, and supervising staff; participate in program evaluations
- Attend training sessions, serve as a resource, and educate community groups on mental health
- Supervise direct patient care as needed, managing resources within budget constraints
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Illinois RN license and CPR certification
- Experience in psychiatric nursing preferred
- Knowledge of abnormal psychology and therapeutic systems beneficial
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism
Location: LOH Main - Naperville
Hours: Part-time, 20 hrs/week, days
