Registered Nurse - CVC 3 South Telemetry- Weekend Option - Full-Time - 7a-730p, every Saturday and Sunday and 1 day during the week

Department: CVC 3 South Telemetry, Henry Ford Genesys Hospital

Schedule

• Full-Time
• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Weekend hours: 3:00 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday
• 3rd day assigned based on department needs
• $15/hour weekend premium for all qualified weekend hours

Pay

• $10,000 sign-on bonus

About the role

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• BSN preferred
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience; if Nurse Resident, all residency requirements must be completed including clinical requirements
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
• Current RN licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
• Health care provider certification (BCLS)
