About the role
Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ICU and other designated units on a per diem basis.
Responsibilities
- Independently deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process for planning and evaluation
- Supervise unlicensed personnel
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote safety and high-quality patient experiences
- Cover night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Provide patient care across multiple locations
- Contribute to safety and care quality initiatives
Requirements
- Current Illinois RN license
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
- BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications
- Minimum two years of recent acute critical care experience with telemetry competence
