Registered Nurse Critical Care Float Pool
Job Summary and Qualifications
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process – assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment – for the identified patient population per the Colorado Nurse Practice Act. Documents patient care administered. Promotes interdisciplinary communication and care. The delivery of care is based on the age, physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient. Demonstrates basic and unit specific competencies.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado, or multistate license
- Associate Degree, BSN desirable
- Must have at least three (3) years of full-time critical care-type, RN experience in designated areas (ED, ICU, PACU)
- Maintain current and active licensure, job-related annual competencies, certifications, and annual education requirements in all assigned areas
- No travel required, floating to ED, ICU, PACU, and other areas as deemed necessary within HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge
