Registered Nurse Critical Care
About the role
Assess patients' physical and emotional needs and deliver timely interventions that support recovery and positive health outcomes.
Develop and manage individualized care plans, closely tracking patient progress and adjusting care as conditions change.
Coordinate care across physicians and the broader care team to ensure patients receive seamless, well-organized treatment.
Communicate patient updates and carry out treatment plans to keep care accurate, timely, and aligned with provider guidance.
Prepare patients and families for discharge, providing education and coordinating next steps to support a safe transition home or to the next level of care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs and deliver timely interventions that support recovery and positive health outcomes.
- Develop and manage individualized care plans, closely tracking patient progress and adjusting care as conditions change.
- Cook up care across physicians and the broader care team to ensure patients receive seamless, well-organized treatment.
- Communicate patient updates and carry out treatment plans to keep care accurate, timely, and aligned with provider guidance.
- Prepare patients and families for discharge, providing education and coordinating next steps to support a safe transition home or to the next level of care.
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Qualifications
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
