Registered Nurse - Chemical Dependency

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, document care, and evaluate outcomes.
• Welcome patients, promote a safe environment, and supervise direct care staff.
• Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges through collaboration with departments and thorough communication.
• Engage with patients, families, and healthcare team to gather data and develop interdisciplinary treatment plans.
• Participate in setting departmental goals, staff training, program evaluation, and professional development.
• Supervise patient care, manage resources within budget, and serve as a role model for staff and students.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and current Illinois RN license.
• CPR certification; CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, therapeutic systems understanding.
