Registered Nurse - Cath Lab Nursing - Monday to Friday - 8 hours shift
About the role
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or equivalent.
- American Heart Association ACLS certification required for Cath Lab role.
- Other certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquired within department required timeframe.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Licensure: Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
- Physical Requirements: Pushes, pulls, and lifts up to 50 pounds regularly; prolonged standing and walking each shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., Six Assessment & Care Modules, Fetal Monitor Certification, and other unit-specific certifications as required.
- Experience: Cath lab, ICU, ED, or other critical care experience preferred; strong acute care experience and willingness to train considered.

- On call 12–15 days per month.
- Includes approximately 2 weekends per month.
