Registered Nurse - Cath Lab - Day Shift

About the Role

Provides direct nursing care within the Cath Lab, following organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. Implements, monitors, and communicates patient care plans and conditions. Serves as a primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines for comprehensive patient care. Follows physician and nursing orders accurately. Assists in assessing and coordinating discharge planning with the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school.

Location

Work location is UAB St. Vincent's in the Cath Lab department.

Schedule

• Full-time day shifts or PRN daytime shifts, with call responsibilities.
