Registered Nurse - Cardiology Stepdown - Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, manage, and provide patient care during hospital stays in a dynamic hospital environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring safety, professionalism, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, document findings, and evaluate patient conditions.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans based on assessments and medical data.
• Administer medications, coordinate care, and communicate with healthcare team members.
• Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor patient responses, recognize changes, and take appropriate nursing actions.
• Deliver specialized care, including restraint management, pain control, and abuse assessment.
• Adhere to quality standards, infection control, and safety policies.
• Collaborate with team members, precept new staff, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Provide age-appropriate care to adults and geriatric patients, ensuring respectful and compassionate service.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in applicable states with BLS certification.
• Ability to perform clinical duties, communicate effectively, and demonstrate professionalism.
