RN - Cardiac Stepdown - Night Shift

About the role

Seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in complex assessment and intervention settings, adhering to organizational policies and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Gather comprehensive patient data from patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or conditions.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to set optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement care plans using clinical judgment and evidence-based practices.
• Ensure patient safety, coordinate care, and evaluate progress toward goals.
• Communicate effectively, contribute to quality improvement, and maintain current knowledge.
• Apply age-specific and clinical needs in patient care, with alertness and safety mindfulness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent for licensing.
• Valid RN license in the relevant state, with additional certifications such as BLS and ALS or equivalent courses.

Skills

• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, and reaching.
• Frequent use of vision, hearing, and smell for patient monitoring.

Schedule

Work in day shifts on a full-time basis.
