About the role
Seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in complex assessment and intervention settings.
Responsibilities
- Gathering comprehensive patient data from patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Analyzing data to determine diagnoses and care needs.
- Collaborating with patients, families, and interprofessional teams to identify outcomes.
- Developing and implementing care plans using clinical judgment and evidence-based practices.
- Ensuring a safe environment, coordinating care, and evaluating progress toward goals.
- Maintaining current knowledge, communicating effectively, and contributing to nursing quality.
- Applying evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs.
- Performing other assigned duties in a safe, alert manner.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- No prior experience required.
- Valid RN license for the state of practice.
- Must hold current BLS certification; additional certifications such as ALS, PALS, ENPC, NRP, or TNCC are required based on the state.
Physical and technical requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and data entry.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects and patients safely.
- Use of vision, hearing, smell, and touch for patient care and safety.
- Occasional driving and physical movements like bending or kneeling.
Schedule
Day shift in an intermediate care department, with a 36-hour workweek.
