Responsibilities
- Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department.
- Directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Current and valid State RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS Certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
- Two (2) years of Cardiac Nursing experience required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
