Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
  • Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department.
  • Directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Current and valid State RN License.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS Certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
  • Two (2) years of Cardiac Nursing experience required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
