Registered Nurse- Cardiac Rehab

About the Role

Saint Luke's South is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Rehab Team in a PRN capacity. In this role, you will complete patient intakes, provide education, monitor vitals, and assist with cardiac rehab classes. We are looking for someone who is friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable, and excited to learn and grow in the cardiac rehab space.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Perform patient care and delegate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Supervise other patient care staff.
• Coordinate the plan of care for assigned patients.
• Consult with other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate proficiency and adhere to policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
• Complete patient intakes, provide education, monitor vitals, and assist with cardiac rehab classes.

Requirements

• 1 year of applicable experience.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Registered Nurse (KS) license (National Council of State Boards of Nursing - NURSYS).
• Associate Degree in Nursing.

Schedule

PRN position requiring a minimum of 1 shift every 6 weeks. Ideally, the candidate will pick up 1-2 shifts per week.
