Registered Nurse - Cardiac Progressive Care, Night Shift

Role Overview: This full-time night staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle on a cardiac progressive care unit. The nurse utilizes nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, adhering to organizational policies and demonstrating professional growth and accountability. Key Responsibilities Coordinate patient care activities and ensure adherence to standards of practiceMaintain quality nursing care across assigned staff Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's Degree preferredValid RN license in Georgia or multistate license requiredBCLS certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy) depending on specialtyNew graduates eligible; hospital experience preferredSpecialty certifications as applicable, with many to be obtained within specified timeframes Additional Notes: The role involves professional accountability, compliance with certification requirements, and providing specialized care in units such as cardiac, critical care, dialysis, emergency, pediatrics, surgical, and women’s services.
