Registered Nurse - Cardiac Progressive Care, Night Shift

Role Overview

This full-time night staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle on a cardiac progressive care unit. The nurse utilizes nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, adhering to organizational policies and demonstrating professional growth and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care activities and ensure adherence to standards of practice
• Maintain quality nursing care across assigned staff

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Valid RN license in Georgia or multistate license required
• BCLS certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy) depending on specialty
• New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred
• Specialty certifications as applicable, with many to be obtained within specified timeframes
