Registered Nurse - Cardiac Progressive Care, Night Shift

About the role

This full-time nursing role is based in a cardiac progressive care unit, focusing on providing comprehensive patient care across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using nursing processes
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and maintain professional growth
• Coordinate patient care activities among staff to deliver high-quality nursing services
• Deliver safe, quality nursing care and coordinate multidisciplinary activities
• Maintain required certifications to meet unit-specific standards

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Eligible for RN licensure in the state; multistate licensure accepted
• Current CPR/BLS certification; additional specialty certifications as applicable
• New graduates are eligible; hospital experience preferred, especially in specialized units

Skills

• Ability to assess and prioritize patient needs effectively
• Strong communication and team coordination skills
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or specialty-specific credentials required based on unit specialization, with specific training timelines
