About the Role
Provide safe, effective, and patient-centered care using the nursing process on a medical/telemetry floor specializing in cardiac patients, including post-op cardiac surgery, TAVRs, and cath-lab intervention patients. Manage patients with varying acuity levels at a 6:1 patient ratio.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care
- Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality
- Ensure alignment with organizational standards
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or others as required by the department
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, and kneeling
