Registered Nurse - Cardiac

Responsibilities

• Care for cardiac patients on a medical/telemetry floor with a 6:1 patient ratio.
• Manage post-op cardiac surgery, intervention patients, and those with complex needs.
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips, monitor patients with chest tubes, and adjust medications as needed, ensuring appropriate interventions based on patient acuity.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Active RN license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or specialized courses may be required depending on unit needs
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting, standing, and movement
