As a Registered Nurse (RN) joining our team, you'll support those in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier.

Responsibilities

  • Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
  • Documents patient care given.
  • Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
  • Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Requirements

  • A current Alabama or compact state RN license.
  • An associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Basic Life Support required.
  • ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred, must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Experience preferred, but new grads welcomed to apply.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform other physical tasks as necessary.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Pay

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus available to well qualified applicants.

Schedule

3x12, Nights (7p-7a), Friday - Sunday or Saturday - Monday

What We're Looking For
