Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac/Telemetry Unit on a full-time day shift. This role is ideal for RNs with at least one year of acute care experience in a cardiac, telemetry, or stepdown setting who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering direct patient care in accordance with the nursing process and hospital policies
  • Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans
  • Supervising and delegating tasks to other members of the healthcare team
  • Participating in quality and safety initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Special Skills- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Leadership qualities and ability to mentor junior staff when needed
  • Minimum Requirements- Experience: Minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience in Cardiac, Telemetry, CVICU, or ICU settings
  • Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Certifications:- Current RN license in the State of Arizona (or eligible)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – required upon completion of orientation
  • Preferred Requirements - Experience: Two or more years in a cardiac stepdown or progressive care unit
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
