Registered Nurse - Birth Center / Labor & Delivery

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient‑centered care during labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Assess, monitor, and respond to maternal and fetal conditions using advanced clinical skills.
• Develop individualized care plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including obstetricians, midwives, and NICU specialists.
• Utilize fetal monitoring, diagnostic data, and participate in safety initiatives.
• Educate and support patients and families through one of their most significant life events.
• Maintain professional growth through certifications and evidence‑based practice.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, BSN).
• Current RN license or eligibility in Missouri.
• BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days if not already licensed).
• Previous RN experience in acute care settings or applicable clinical environments.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, PALS, and C‑EFM are preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand, walk, and perform direct patient‑care activities.
