Registered Nurse - Birth Center / Labor & Delivery

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Assess, monitor, and respond to maternal and fetal conditions using advanced clinical skills.
• Develop individualized care plans and educate families throughout the birthing process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and NICU specialists.
• Utilize fetal monitoring, diagnostic data, and participate in safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
• Maintain professional growth through certifications and continuing education.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program and current RN license.
• BLS certification; additional certifications like ACLS, NRP, PALS, or C-EFM preferred.
• Previous acute care RN experience or willingness to undergo comprehensive training.
• Ability to lift, stand, walk, and perform direct patient care activities.
