About the role
The Behavioral Health RN provides acute care to adults and children, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers. Responsibilities include consultation, evaluation, treatment planning, medication management, and delivering evidence-based psychotherapies in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver patient care within the scope of practice outlined by the state nursing board.
- Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary team efforts to achieve patient-centered outcomes.
- Perform ongoing assessments and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to team members and serve as a clinical leader.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN license in the state.
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; willingness to complete BSN within five years.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.
- Ability to recognize patient care issues and respond effectively to emergencies.
