About the role
Provide comprehensive nursing care within a Behavioral Health department, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, assessing patient conditions, and coordinating discharge planning with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Record, communicate, and respond to patient condition updates.
- Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and facilitate patient discharge needs.
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse with diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire, from AHA or Red Cross.
- Strong communication, assessment, and care coordination skills.
