About Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is a psychiatric hospital that began offering substance abuse and mental health services in 2002. Originally established to serve adolescents, the hospital now provides a full spectrum of acute inpatient services to adults and seniors. Since 2010, Lighthouse has expanded its mental health and substance abuse services, including:

• 2013: Opened a 28-day inpatient chemical dependency rehabilitation unit—the first of its kind in the Grand Strand area
• 2015: Opened an acute adolescent unit to meet the needs of teens and their families in the Grand Strand
• 2022: Opened an Adult Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent care, comfort, and security to patients and families during vulnerable times
• Work in a safe and supportive environment that prioritizes patient care and values the nursing profession
• Collaborate with a large, nationwide network of peer nurses and nursing leaders to exchange ideas and review industry topics
• Participate in career development opportunities through Charge, Supervisor, and Nurse Manager-in-training programs, as well as the nursing executive tract
• Engage in robust continuing education options and opportunities for skills diversification and career advancement

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in the State of South Carolina (or eligible to receive or renew)
• Current CPR or BLS certification
