Registered Nurse - Advanced Acute Care Medical

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care in a 19-bed medical unit. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.Develop and coordinate individualized care plans, including patient education and discharge planning.Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures following policies.Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.Collaborate proactively with physicians, ancillary staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Problem-solve equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decision-making.Contribute to team goals, quality improvement, and safety initiatives. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a specialty nursing training program, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a clinical environment. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning. Additional Details: The role involves night shifts, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. The unit cares for patients requiring respiratory support and management of drains, tubes, and trachs.
