Registered Nurse - Adult/Psych - Night Shift

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care in a behavioral health setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Key Responsibilities Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions.Maintain current competency standards and promote safety protocols.Supervise and guide nursing staff, fostering professional development.Document patient information thoroughly and timely.Collaborate ethically with colleagues and contribute to a positive working environment.Respond effectively to emergencies and ensure a safe therapeutic environment. Qualifications & Skills At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in psychiatric care.Graduate of an accredited nursing school with mastery of nursing skills.Current Illinois Nursing licensure and American Heart Association CPR certification.Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) may be required based on unit needs.Strong communication skills and ability to supervise staff.Psychiatric experience is highly preferred.
