Registered Nurse - Adolescent/Young Adult Psychiatry - Evening Shift

Role: RN Per Diem in Adolescent and Young Adult Psychiatry, providing inpatient mental health care for patients aged 12-22. Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care independently.Utilize the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.Supervise and guide unlicensed assistive personnel in psychiatric patient care.Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes.Contribute to safety, quality patient experiences, and positive safety outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Current professional Nursing Licensure in Illinois required.BSN degree preferred.BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Providers required.Minimum of 1-year hospital nursing experience; psychiatric experience preferred. Key Duties: Providing direct psychiatric nursing care, leading team members, using nursing processes, and ensuring safety and quality care for adolescent and young adult patients during evening shifts. The role includes rotating holidays and weekends, with a focus on fostering a supportive, professional environment that promotes growth and high-quality patient care.
