Registered Nurse - Adolescent Psych - Evening Shift
Position Highlights
Position: RN, Adolescent and Young Adult Psychiatry
Location: Highland Park Hospital, Highland Park, IL
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (32 hours)
Hours: Evening Shift (3:00-11:30pm) Rotating Weekends/Holidays are required
What You Will Need
- Licence: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Education: BSN degree preferred
- Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
- Experience: Minimum 1-year current hospital nursing experience ; previous Psych experience strongly preferred.
What You Will Do
- Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for an inpatient adolescent and young adult psychiatry unit, patients age 12-22
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel, such as mental health associates, in delivering psychiatric patient care
- Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote a high quality patient experience
