Registered Nurse - Adult/Psych - Evening Shift

Role: Registered Nurse providing patient care in a behavioral health setting. Responsibilities Utilize nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.Maintain competency with current standards and promote professional development among peers.Ensure safety protocols to prevent injuries and foster a therapeutic environment.Supervise and guide nursing staff, documenting care thoroughly and timely.Recognize and respond to emergency situations appropriately.Integrate evidence-based practices and ethical considerations into daily nursing activities.Perform related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program.Current Illinois Nursing license and CPR certification.Preferably at least one year of nursing experience, with strong communication skills.Possibly required ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications depending on unit needs.Previous psychiatric experience is highly preferred. Key Details: Full-time evening shift with rotating holidays and weekends. Compensation varies based on experience, with sign-on bonuses available for differing experience levels.
