Registered Nurse- Admissions (Hospital Based) (Full-Time 0.9/Days)

About the role

Hospice & Community Care seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Admissions team. This position is full-time (0.9 or 72 hours per biweekly pay period) with a day shift schedule (12-hour shifts).

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing services, responds to inquiries and referrals, and addresses urgent and ongoing needs for patients and caregivers.
• Supports and enhances the organizational mission and philosophy, promoting excellence in end-of-life care.
• Completes a 5-6 weeks of a full-time, day shift (8am - 5pm) orientation.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse licensed in Pennsylvania with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the last 4 years.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 64 hours per two-week pay period.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Pay

• Salary commensurate with experience.

Schedule

• Day shift (12-hour shifts)
• Weekends: Every 4-6 weekends
• Holidays: One every 1-2 years
