Registered Nurse - Administrative Supervisor

About the role

This role involves coordinating daily nursing operations to ensure quality patient care and achieve clinical objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assign, guide, and monitor nursing and support staff
• Manage patient flow
• Support emergency responses
• Lead incident command during disasters
• Evaluate care effectiveness
• Address patient care complaints
• Contribute to staff hiring, training, and evaluation

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• At least two years of registered nurse experience demonstrating leadership skills
• Current RN licensure
• BLS certification

Skills and physical requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, and move patients and objects
• Visual and auditory acuity
• Capacity for occasional driving and physical movements such as bending and kneeling

Certifications

• Valid BLS provider certification
• RN licensure as per state requirements (Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin)
