About the role
Responsible for overseeing hospital operations and ensuring quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during shifts
- Serve as a resource and provide support for patient emergencies
- Manage patient flow and evaluate care effectiveness
- Respond to patient care complaints and manage incident command during disasters
- Contribute to staff hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure safety and perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent
- At least two years of registered nurse experience with leadership responsibilities
- Current RN license and BLS certification in the appropriate state
Skills and Physical Requirements
- Strong communication, leadership, and clinical skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and respond quickly in emergency situations
- Frequent use of vision, hearing, and manual dexterity
Schedule
This role requires evening shifts, including every third weekend.
