Registered Nurse - Acute Trauma Medsurg – Full Time

About the Role

The Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies. They make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to other care providers to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Meet competencies related to self, others, and leadership.
• Deliver nursing care following the ANA standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols, monitoring side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient information and care details accurately.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• At least 1 year of related nursing experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• RN license in the state of employment or a valid compact license.

Schedule

Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, full-time.
