About the role
The RN Clinical Nurse is a key member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on evidence-based practices, ensuring individualized treatment that respects cultural diversity.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and document safe, effective patient care through collaboration and communication with the healthcare team.
- Partner with patients and families, utilizing techniques like bedside reports and patient education to align care with patient goals.
- Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and promote evidence-based practices.
- Mentor less experienced staff and serve as a resource to foster a competent, professional nursing workforce.
- Develop protocols, ensure compliance with policies, and optimize resource utilization.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associates or Baccalaureate Nursing degree preferred.
- Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to emergencies.
